Our new 5th studio-album will be released in march 2013 via Massacre Records! 3 years after our last CD "DUST" (Twilight Records) we are back with a heavy load of new riffs and structures. We are almost at the end of a long road of rehearse and working on new tunes!

At the time we are still working on the pre-production of 10 tracks. The new songs are shaping up in a new brutal style and also on a higher technical level. With this release we went back to our roots and also made a step forward to new structures and rhythms.

We filmed a video for the track "Regression" from our latest album "DUST". The videoclip was filmed last weeks at a location in Vienna.

"Regression" is taken from our actual CD "DUST" and is one of our favourite tracks in our live-setlist. The song is about the rise and fall of human race, about progression and regression.

The videoclip is planned to be released end of the year. Be prepared!!

MASTIC SCUM signed a worldwide deal with the German label Massacre Records! Harry comments: We are proud to announce that we signed a deal with one of our favorite labels. We know this company since quite a long time and are happy to be a part of it now.

Aufgrund einer Erkrankung von Maggo müssen wir leider unser Konzert im Röda in Steyr absagen!! :(( Maggo hat eine starke Verkühlung/Grippe und hat keine Stimme. Wir wünschen ihm gute Besserung! In deep sadness we have to announce that our friend & ex-member Will was killed in an accident on friday 23rd of March.

We are all very shocked about his tragic death. Will joined Mastic Scum in 1993 and left the band in 2008. We had a great time and lot of experiences together.

New material is fucking exciting - shredding mosh grooves and grindcore blast attacks. We are 100% concentrated in song-writing process, so we take a break in playing live and don´t plan too many shows the next months. Stay tuned!

MASTIC SCUM wishes everybody a Happy New Year 2012!! This ending year has been great for us! We wanna extend special thanks to everyone that showed support!!!

We are currently working on the new 5th album! We are fucking excited about the new record which will be for sure a progression from the songwriting and sound production points of view.
